First, I'd like to take a moment to express appreciation to our country's fighting men and women! As we enjoy our holiday weekend, let's all keep in our hearts and in our minds, those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. To any Veteran or Active Duty Military who might read this, God Bless you, and thank you for your service to America! To those of you with loved ones who gave their lives in defense of this country, please know that their sacrifice means more than words can say!
Now on to the Qview...
I had a nice top sirloin in the fridge, so I decided to grill up some steak kabobs. Also had a couple of fresh ears of sweet corn on the cob. I cubed up the sirloin and marinated it with some Daddy Hinkle's Marinade for about an hour. Cut up a sweet Vidalia onion, and a red, green, and yellow bell pepper. Also had some fresh button mushrooms.
The steak, and veggies all skewered...dusted these with a little bit of steak rub and fresh ground black pepper.
I went ahead and shucked the corn for a fast grilling. Coated with some spray EVOO, then dusted with jalapeno rub and fresh ground black pepper.
I set the Rec Tec to 500*...the kabobs are on the searing grates, the corn on the cooler side on the stainless grates. About 8 minutes per side on the kabobs...The corn cooked about 10 minutes per side.
Done!
Here's my plate...
A couple closer looks...
Easy meal...and delicious! Thanks for stopping by! Happy Memorial Day!
And Once Again...Thank you and God Bless to all our Veterans and Active Duty Military, and Their Families!!
