Hello all. I am from Saskatchewan, Canada. I recently bought a Traeger Pro 34 and have done a couple meals on it -ribs and chicken. I am very impressed with how moist my whole chicken was and the apple pie had the best crust ever! I am researching how to make bacon from scratch and that is what led me here. It looks like this is the place to be to get all my answers as I really know nothing about smoking meats of any kind and there looks to be a wealth of information on here! I will be burning the midnight oil for many night to come I think!. I've read a bit and need to figure out what Cure #1 is. We have Morton's here and not sure what Cobela's has.
