I stumbled across this forum a few times and finally decided to join in.  I'm a NC native (Iredell County-Mooresville area), and cooking BBQ and playing bluegrass is a part of my DNA.  Looking forward to utilizing all the good resources of this forum.

Also forgot to share...this is my offset.  I purchased it a few years ago from a guy down in Augusta.  It was originally purchased from an Academy Sports.  I beleive Old Country BBQ pits is the manufacturer..  I've done a few mods which include a charcoal basket for the firebox, and tuning plates to help with heat distribution in the cooking chamber.  I am somewhat in the drawing board stages of a reverse flow trailer build..but that will be a while:
