Smoked my first butt Saturday. Rubbed it with Jeff’s rub Friday afternoon. Put it in the ECB early Saturday morning. After two hours, began mopping it ever hour. Wrapped it in aluminum foil at 165F. When the internal temperature reached 200F, took it out, wrapped in with foil and towels and stuck in the cooler. Let it sit for two and a half hours in the cooler before pulling and hitting it with SoFlaQuer’s finishing sauce. It pulled apart real easy. Also made some of Dutch’s baked beans. Everything came out great thanks to advice found here!
