How much of what and what did you do....I had a 7# piece of belly , ended up wet brine. However the overal volume of sugar salt cure the digging calculator told me , did not seem like it would have been enough to spread over the belly. Maybe I am wrong.
It often does not seem a lot when it is spread over belly because of its large surface area. When curing the same weight of back bacon it usually does not all stick and you end up pouring the remainder of the cure into the bag with the meat.I had a 7# piece of belly , ended up wet brine.
