Smoked first Brisket

This past weekend.

I used this recipe and it was delicious.

I had to cut the brisket in half to fit in my Bradley.

Put it on the smoker at 11:30 pm at 220 deg.

Took it off around 12 hrs later, wrapped it in foil and put it in the oven for 4 more hours while I ran some errands.

Then used FTC until we ate at 6:30.

Man thats one good looking brisket and that smoke ring is really good too.points.giffor pulling off your first brisket smoke.

Looks great.

You say you cut it in half, Was it a packer and you actually cut it in half or did you separate the point and flat?

What temp did you cook it to?? I find brisket a little hard to cook. I always dry it out...Looks great
