Whew was a long flight both ways. My wife met her sister for the 1st time, so much alike.

I ate lots of wurst and am stuffed. Took lots of pics i will post later.

I bought some sausage about $12 in dry. US Customs took it from me. Dont think you can sneek it past them as your luggage goes thru the xray machine.

Well i will start with the sausage i bought to bring back.

I'm sure this would not have caused an International food problem. Hope they get the runs from eating it all HAHA

You would have thought that the alcohol would have been taken but they said no problem. I have not seen these in the USA. The Havana Club rum is still not avail here, Only the Bacardi fake stuff.

Welcome back! Alcohol is allowed meat is not. Meat can carry bacteria they don't want coming into the country.

Agent gave me a pamphlet, said they dont want any animal related disease from other countries infecting our cattle. BS if you ask me.

Check Point Charlie. I had to wash and wear these clothes for 2 days as we missed our connection flight in paris and they lost our luggage but found it and DHL delivered it to our hotel in Magdeburg.

This is what the hotel had for breakfast every morning.

Meats and cheese. They did have eggs, sausage, toast, drinks.

Bet ya them agents had a great party on your behalf.

It does suck that things like that happen but it seems to be the way in today's world. Glad you had a great trip and are back safe and sound.
