Are the wrinkled cases normal after the cold water bath? I did my first batch of summer sausage which came out of the smoker with full and tight casings but after the water bath they look like the OP's. I was thinking maybe the water bath cooled things off to quick so I was planning on trying the cold water shower next time but if wrinkled is normal then I will continue with the bath.
