Nice smoke ring.
.

Meat and potatoes.

That juice on the platter says tri tip! Yum! I'm jealous tonight, B.
They don't have them "on the shelf" here, either, Richie, but all the butchers know what they are and will cut you one if they have the meat. You won't get those west coast prices but it's a nice "treat" now and then. Ask for it.

Thanks SmokeyMose,we never had Tri tip until recently either,or I just missed them, and the prices are usally $9.99# in the off season and 11-13.99# during grilling season. I'm very glad my local GFS store sells them in bulk 5-6 in a pack they were 2.99# but just went to 3.45# still much better then the grocery store prices!

I tried GFS here and they were out of sight. I've gotten them from 3 different places and they all charged $6.99#. I can live with that. Heck sometimes we pay that for Chuck!

Are hey selling you a case? Mine breaks there cases luckily I'd hate to tie up that much freezer space but I'm addicted so I would have to do it.

Can ya get more food on a square plate? Does it allow less spillage? I can see where you could get one side right up to your belly. Been considering some.

I can drop or spill stuff any plate equally! This set was just the best looking option for us and now I prefer the square plate they fit in the cabinets very nicely.

Yeah and they don't break them. That's ok, like you we love leftovers! We get 3 good meals out of a 3 - 4# tri tip, so that $21 to $24 isn't really that bad. I won't show the Mrs that pic of the steak & eggs. She'll be gobbling the leftovers while I'm at work LOL!
