Hello from the Lowcountry!

Hey ya'll...my name is Will and I'm from Charleston, SC.  I bought my 1st smoker last week and have already done chicken drums, which turned out excellent!

 

I've been lurking for about a week and I've enjoyed reading others posts and experiences.  I look forward to sharing with the group and to learn more from ya'll.

 

For super sunday, i'm smoking a 5lb whole chicken, italian sausage, and venison burgers!!

 

Looking forward to everyone's expertise.

Plan is to cook at 225...then adding sausage and venison patties

That is one fine looking bird. Welcome to the forums. There are many others out there, but this one has a great group of peeps. They actually put up with me. Im in Laurens SC. I come to chareston every now and again for the cisco food show.

Welcome from the upstate, Will. I know you will enjoy this great site. There are lots of really good folks here who are always eager to share their ideas and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading.

Charleston is one of our very favorite places. We honeymooned there 14 years ago last week.
