Here`s the question

I`ve been looking at the Masterbuilt Dual Fuel box and really liking what I`ve seen and read.

Everything would have been a done deal--UNTIL--I saw a pretty decent deal on a Masterbuilt dual door propane only box.

I`m seeing not much difference between the 2 units, but maybe I`m missing something.

I like the idea of being able to use charcoal or propane, but not sure I like it $50 worth.

The reviews are pretty darn close between the 2...

So before I order it, thought I`d ask.

Thanks All.

propane much easier to work with....charcoal gives you that hands on feeling that can get old tending to it almost constantly. I had a Master Forge double door gasser and had decent results with it. Often difficult to maintain consistent temps with it though, especially in winter. There will not be one answer received on here...LOL....you'll get 2 dozen different opinions though....Willie

Propane has it's advantages as does Charcoal, I like both

Yea, I`m with you about being able to have the choice...

My gut says go for the dual fuel and dang the price difference..

Then that cheep-o angel on my shoulder says..yea, but this one is cheaper.

I`m prone to overthink a thing.

One of my many shortcomings, I think

I use my gas grill a lot, it's easy and quick, but every so often I want charcoal so I get out my ECB and fire it up.  As for as smoking I run an RF.

Well hell, looks like the gut wins and the dual fuel it is.

It`s what I really wanted in the first place.

Funny you bring up an ECB, since this will be an upgrade from my electric ECB.

Thanks for the replies.

Now I just have to figure out how to get the BOSS in a positive frame of mind so she will go for it.

Dinner and a couple of adult beverages I`m thinking.

Or I could go with the old "forgiveness is easier than permission" routine.
