Defrosting a Brisket

Poor planning on my part.

Been thinking about doing a brisket Sunday but couldnt decide.

Now its Saturday at noon and I have two packers in the deep freeze and its 31 degrees outside.

Should I:

A) Bring a frozen one in the house and lay on the counter hoping it will get defrosted in time to start early in the morning?

B) Head to the store this afternoon and get one already un-frozen?

I would just go to the store. Otherwise put it in the sink and keep a small stream of water going to help thaw it just don't overflow the sink!

I vote store. I also vote start it tonight if it is a big one.

Welp, gotta go to the store anyway now since I dont have enough mac noodles to do the smoked mac & cheese recipe I want to try

Might as well pick up a brisket

I hate getting low in the freezer anyway :icon_lol:

thinking of starting this evening, will decide after I figure out how big of brisket I am buying  :)

going to the store in prep for starting up my big smoker always ends up in me spending too much money on other stuff to stick on there as well,

I have a problem that seeing empty space in the smoke chamber gives me an itch to try and fill it
