Quit smoking March 5, 1992 but smoking again (Masterbuilt) have done pork butt and shoulder.

They have turned out very well, smoking my first turkey for Thanksgiving. Need some advise on what wood to use and temperature.

Looking forward to the response.

Yes DR. I am a smoker!

If your using an electric go 275° and finish it in the oven at 350° for crispy skin.

If propane 325°-350°
Happy smoken.

Thanks from a74 degree day in Maryland in November, Snow on Wednesday.

Any suggestions on how long to keep smoke on turkey? I will be using pecan for my flavor.
