New to smoking

Just setup my master built 20072612 electric 4 rack smoker with a cold smoker sidekick which is the master built cold smoker model 200770112. New to smoking so I need to learn a lot before I even know what to ask. I live in Gainesville, fl and my interest is smoking for the family and friends. Kind of person that reads a lot and willing to experiment, don't mind modifying my unit to help my lack of cooking experience. I've read a little about pid, extension pipe, additional heating elements, internet fans etc.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
