New to the forum although I've been checking it for tips and recipes quite often.  After smoking a turkey for my wife's family for Thanksgiving she saw how much I enjoyed doing it and bought me a Masterbuilt electric smoker for Christmas.  Since then I've been smoking just about every single weekend trying to get things right.  I would say that ribs are my fastball right now and I've got my recipe honed down to where for the first time a few weeks ago 3 of our guests had me write it down so they could bring back to their husbands.

I have 2 older brothers that have been smoking for a few years longer than I have so I've picked up advice from them.  I'm also a member of a pretty big tailgate for LSU games.  We cook all kinds of things on Saturdays - mostly cajun food but this year we'll be adding some good BBQ.  About 7 years ago my brother and I built a homemade "cajun microwave" to roast hogs in.  I know its not smoking but I'm proud of it - here it is in action:

Looking forward to getting better with the help of this board.

Welcome RMB48 (Whoa! Deja Vu).

Thanks for stopping in to Roll Call!  Fun and tasty looking video!  Thanks for sharing.  Looking forward to what you smoke up in the backyard and your tailgates.

Laissez les bon temps rouler!  (Let the good times roll!)
