I just purchased my first smoker 5 days ago - Smoke Hollow 44". I did not waste any time and had my first experience slow smoking the same day I bought it.  I can say I'm hooked on it already and I'm looking forward to experimenting with new recipes and eventually specialty meats. I'm also looking forward to making several mods to the smoker to get it dialed in for consistent success. My hope is to get up to speed to handle smoking about 40-45# of boneless pork shoulders / butts for my family reunion in 2-3 months. I'm impressed with the knowledge I've already gained from this forum and thank you all for your input.
