Hello all,
Just joined the SMF. I have been smoking meat for about a year now and has become a fun hobby of mine. My golf game has suffered a bit, but my family, in-laws, friends, step sons, and my wife enjoy the goodies I smoke.

I was going to smoke some chicken quarters tomorrow. I'm going to brine the chicken, but I was thinking about using a zesty apple rub that picked up at the pepper palace. I just wanted to try something different. What does everyone think?

Thanks in advance for the advice.
