Figured the title might attract some attention. My brain is fried after a Loooong week at work and was wondering if I rub a pork shoulder tonight for a Saturday smoke am I going to have any issues? I'm using John Henery's Pecan rub. Idk I'm probably overthinking this, but it's a b-day party and don't want to ruin it.

I wouldn't think there would be a problem. Would save time. I always rub the day I am going to smoke them. Wanna try the night before just to see if there is a difference. Others here will give your their 2 cents too.
