STEAK RUB HELP

I mostly smoke meat but tonight im grilling some ribeyes. Does anyone have a good rub for steaks? I have just about every normal seasoning there is but need some ideas. I usually just use salt and pepper but I want something more. Thanks!!

Same here, maybe some garlic Salt from time to time. I let my steak sit at room temp for about 30 mins, season with salt and pepper and let sit another 30 mins turning once, then grill to Med rare, rest 20 mins or so under a foil tent.

Good hunk of meat like you have there should not need much. I'm jealous, my dinner menu tonight pales in comparison!

I'm sticking with my salt and pepper. I have some "cowboy rub" (McCormick) but my wife cant eat it. Too spicy for the family. Turns out i have to think about them from time to time. Haha

I mix up some garlic salt, garlic powder, pepper, and ground mustard for my steaks.

I use SPOG on steak- Salt(Kosher), Pepper(cracked black, Onion(granulated) and Garlic(also granulated). Once dusted with these I cover with plastic wrap and put them back in the fridge for three or four hours before cooking.

I really like Montreal Steak Seasoning on beef, SPOG works good too!

X2 on the Montreal Steak seasoning, it's all I put on my ribeyes. It is also great on venison burgers.

I have a rub I make for certain steaks & some other pieces of beef but I would not want to use it on a ribeye. They get the bare minimum - they don't need much help

95% of the time, I use just salt and pepper on steak.
Good steak doesn't need anything more.
Sometimes a bit of kicked-up beurre monté as a serving sauce.
