Hello! I'm a new member just saying hello! I'm not sure what kind of smoker we have...my fiance runs that show. He's graduated a few times, and has a new one, so I'm not 100% on what kind it is. I know it's electric and that deliciousness comes from it's insides and that is as far as I am concerned!
I was thinking that there should be more things that we could try and smoke besides the normal ribs, turkey and brisket that we do. Not that I don't love those things, but I was curious as to what everyone else is up to and I found this forum.
What sparked my interest was the silly section on "fatties". I'm a p.o.p.(pal of pork) and so I thought, "wow, stuff, wrapped in a sausage blanket then wrapped in a weave of bacon and smoked? How can this be wrong?" (Other than I better spend a few hours in the gym burning the calories!) So I am about to try a couple out today. I'm taking pictures of my progress and I'll post in the fattie section.
