Lazy weekend here so I threw a couple birds on to cook topped with a few slices of bacon and a slice of pineapple (thanks Phil).  Made a few japs while I was at it and a pot of Dutch's beans (thanks Dan).  I know this little cooker isn't the best, but for $15 it'll work for a while.  Still getting the hang of it.  Ambient temp seemed to run a little hot, close to 300, but that was measured right at the top of the box with my trusty oven thermometer

Wild Willy's #1 and off the shelf Webers beer can chicken (one of two shelf seasonings I actually like)

Fixins almost ready, found these giant japs at the grocer, couldn't resist.

I really need a bigger smoker.....

Filled the corners up with charcoal and wood chips, threw a few lit coals on top to get things goin. Pissed this guy off while starting the chimney.

TBS?

Gettin there.

Cucumber/dill tzatziki

Finally time to eat.. Cooked to 165-170

Looks Great!  I had to put my ABT's above the beans last week and it made the beans a little spicy and the extra bacon drippings never hurt anything.

What a great start - congrats on your first run
