Baby Back Ribs & Corn on the Cob

Thread Starter

So I got my first set of Baby Back Ribs in the MES40 smoker.

I've seen a recipie for Smoked Corn on the Cob.

I'm wondering, however, if I can smoke them both for the same meal.

The Ribs take 5-6 hours, with 3 hours of smoke.

The Corn takes 2 hours.

Doing a little math, the smoke time would be finished just about the time I need to start the corn.

So, now I am wondering if it is even worth it?

I suppose at the very least, the corn would be cooked, just no smoke flavor

Any thoughts?

put that corn in with the smoke for whatever time you want. take it out, wrap it in foil, keep it warm.

No more than 5 1/2 hours on the Baby Backs, unless they are some fat ones.
