New to the smoking meat community. Wife has a gluten problem. Any help for her for rubs and marinades.

lou, morning.... I can only suggest you make your own rubs and marinades from non-gluten products.... It is probably a tough descision to make on what fillers come in "spices" on the rack...  If you have spices that your wife has no reaction to, I would start with those.... If you have a dehydrator, you can dry celery, onions, garlic, peppers, etc and grind your own to insure the "gluten free" integrity for home use....

I know the makers of condiments are aware of your wifes condition and daily they are making products for her to eat....

If you find a solution, pass the information on in this forum...  I'm sure others would appreciate the info being passed on....

Listed under "FORUMS" There is a section called SMF Groups...... It is for learning and contributing "specialties"

Within that grouping is a group named "YAWYE", an acronym for  "You Are What You Eat ".....

This group is dedicated to eating healthy and there may be someone with great advice and definitely more knowledge than I have...

Check them out.... Introduce yourself and what kind of help you are seeking.....

Your friend in smoke.....   Dave
