Hi, from n.e. Ohio and i've been making ven. Bacon in my oven. ,goal is too have a smoke hiuse made by next year. Not sure if i want a cinder block or wood. Any advice would help.thanks!! ;)
Welcome to the SMF Family...I will leave the design issues to the resident Guru's...I remember my Grandfather's was Cinderblock, it always smelled so good I think of him when I fire up my MES...JJ
I've never even considered making bacon until I joined this site about three weeks ago after getting a MES 40 for Christmas. Now I found a pork belly supplier locally and I can't wait.

First off welcome to SMF. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
