In the mood for some ribs, haven't smoked anything since August, so I was ready to smoke some babybacks. Nothing special, but here it goes.

They look great...but...How about some details next time?...JJ

Rubbed em down with Jeffs rub the night before. 2-2-1 kind of. During the2ND 2 while they were foiled, I ran out of gas, connected the other tank and let them go an extra 30 minutes, because I wasn't sure
When it went out. Did 45 minutes for the last hour. Brushed then with some sauce before.
They turned out really good. It pisses me off that I can't get a good smoke ring. Any tips? Is it the foiling?

On my Smoke Vault I actually let the wood chunks catch fire & burn in the chip pan. I go through about 5 or 6 chunks in about 2 hours, then have to throw a couple more on every hour or so. This way I'm getting combustion in the smoker & it will produce a nice smoke ring. You have to be kinda careful you don't get too much smoke rolling. It took me a couple of times to get it right. I also replaced the cast iron chip pan with a veggie wok the same size. Here's the setup at startup.
