I want to smoke a pork butt but I want a different flovor other than the traditional rub. I am thinking about using a fruit marinade kind of like the flovor of El Polo Loco chicken.
Has anybody done this before and what kind of fruit would you reccomend? I was thinking of pineapple and maybe some orange. I think this would give it sort of a Mexican flair.
Any comments?
