without the skin, now i just saw this on another thread, the thigh presentation looked pretty good, any thoughts on doing this for a competition?

Now there are a few people here that do compete I think so maybe you saw someones product of a competition I know I would be showing off my smokes. Atfer all isn't that what we are here for to see other folks smokes and steal their ideas and recipes. Just kidding about stealing after all if I'm posting you can have it and I'll even answer questions if anyone has any..

I don't care for the appearance of the grill marks on the skin that was made by those grill baskets.

For backyard cooking, I'm sure it's convenient to use that basket to help flip the thighs...but for a competition you have to be careful about appearance.

Ok are there any KCBS certified judges that have an opinion please anyone???
