Hi,
My name is Greg, better known as Gramps to my grand children. I live in Tennessee and a novice in smoking meat. I have an electric smoke hollow smoker I purchased from SAMs . I originally did so because of a hectic schedule I wanted the taste without the hassle of watching my smoker all day. However I kept enjoying enjoying the taste and tenderness of smoking I started looking for more recipes. I purchased Jeff s book and after trying his recipe on briskest and beans I fell in love with smoking. I also purchased a smoker because I live where I can hunt a lot and all my deer and wild turkey turn out like jerky. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I recently bought a 1/4 of a cow and I think I had a bad processor because it's grissly and tough. I don't eat that often but when I do I appreciate good food. I have read Jeff's book almost from cover to cover and look forward to interacting with other to become a better smoker. Who knows, if I do, I might not be embarrassed to invite others over for a cookout. Have a blessed day.
