Hi all, I'm from Maine and have minimal smoking experience. I plan on opening a butcher shop and will be smoking bacon, ham, sausage, etc. Already I can tell that this forum will be a great source of information. Currently I do not have a smoker for my business, but am in the market. My space is limited and it must be indoors. Also, LP is the fuel I'll be using. I'd love if anyone has recommendations for me regarding what smoker to go with. I have been looking at the Town Smokehouse SM-24, but haven't been able to find much info or reviews about it.

As I said, any info or advice would be much appreciated.

Welcome from SC. It's good to have you on this great site. I don't know anything about indoor smokers, but I'm sure someone on here can help. One tip I would pass along. My local butcher has a data base of customers and every week he has a cooked special and sends out a very colorful email to everyone. BTW, we think that Bar Harbor is a great place to visit.

Good luck finding a smoker that will suit and good luck with your new venture, Joe

Welcome to the forum!  Best of luck with your business.  I don't have any advice to offer, but I'm glad you joined us.
