Just finished restoring an old charbroil offset I picked up on Craigslist for 20 bucks. It's small at about 3 feet long with a 1 foot box. Got plans to put a baffle plate in and turn it into a reverse flow. Done two smokes so far. One was a whole brined bird rubbed with some spice and stuffed with garlic onion apple and lemon. The other was a rabbit that was getting too close to my lettuce. The chicken was great, but I'm not sure if rabbit is meant for the smoker (at least not until I get better at this). Looking forward to learning a lot, and maybe one day sharing some things I might pick up along the way.
