First time ABT

    I am going to make some ABTs using a couple of different cheeses wrapped in bacon. I will make them longways (boat shaped) and wrap the bacon all the way around. My question is do ya ll put them straight on the wrack or in a throw away pan. I'm just picturing all that bacon grease everywhere. I guess it would be good flavoring for future smokes.

    Throw them straight on the rack. Won't be any worse then smoking a pork butt or ribs.

    Right on the rack. If you have something else like Chicken or pretty much whatever (baked beans?), you can let them drip down over them. Real good!
