Morning Everyone, today is the day I go to pick up my New Camp Chef Smoke Vault 18" Stainless Steel door smoker

doesn't take much to get me excited

. Just wanted to check in and make sure I have it correct as to how to season it properly. Spray it down good with (I have some spray) Olive oil brush it around good with a clean brush, get the heat going with some Hickory is what I have wood bring her up to 250*- 275* let her smoke a couple hours and she is ready to go?

Let me know if I need to do anything different as I trust in your opinions allot. It is 6:10 am here 10:00 won't get here fast enough

You might first give 'er a scrub to remove any petro based oils from manufacturing/rust preventative origins. A mild soap or Simple Green. Rince then continue with your aforementioned regime.
