I would be more than happy to add my 2 cents to this, but after spending 3 hours trying to upload my first ever qview, the terminology I would be using would probably get me PERMANENTLY banned from this site. I've read the tutorials, followed the directions, but the required buttons will not magically appear on my monitor. Any and all help will get a huge THANK YOU

what engine are you using? firefox?IE?google chrome? sometimes Explorer wont work and i have to use chrome, or firefox and it works perfectly. right now on my IE at work i cant upload anythng because i dont have any icons to do so.

I use Chrome and IE from work and have the same issue. But if I use Chrome at home it works.

 You do not see the "Insert IMage" icon (8th from the right) when the post box comes up?

thatts what i have going on here also..just a box that says reply..lol. when quoting the box is in script....sucks. so no more pics for me, no more multiquoting...no more emoticons...just plain ol reading and replying. unless i log in on my phone. and even then i cant add pictures, just everything else..lol. dumb windows phone.

Yeah probably something being blocked. If I take my laptop home I can do it from home but then it will stop working when at the office.

Sometimes I get the bare bones box too.  AND....when that happens I have learned to get out of the internet and go back again and the box has all the icons. Sometimes it's when Huddler is doing some updates too. Others....I am just not "holding my mouth right".

Huddler is pretty messed up.
One other thing you can do is use something like Photo Bucket (free) and upload your images there, then use the "IMG CODE". Just copy it and paste it directly into your post. Should work.

Gary, morning...... Does it work yet....      IE sucks...   chrome works for me.....       I download all my pics to my computer...  I  have files under a SMF folder....  

Click on "Insert Image" 2 left of the paper clip on the icon bar....  click on "upload files"....   find the files in the SMF folder....  double click on the file I want or hold down the control key and click on the series of files I want to load then click open and the pics show up....    

You probably already had that explanation but I thought I would pass it on again regardless...     

One more thing....   check the "updates" for your software and run any updates your computer may need....   I have had a situation where auto updates was not working and there were 9 updates in queue and lots of stuff wouldn't work....

Boy, I got so much help, it is mindboggling-----THANK YOU ALL. Actually, I finally got it to work and posted my qview. Don't know why it suddenly decided to like me, but it did. Thanks again everyone
