Going to pull the trigger on a MES 30 (Amazon has it for $170) I would like to order the ANMPS but they offer 3 sizes, so what size to go with?

Thanks in advance!

5x8 AMNPS - Burns pellets or sawdust

Good for cold smoking up to 270°

The 6x6 and 6x8 only burn sawdust

Good for cold smoking and up to 180° or so

+ I'm offering $5 off a pellet smoker for SMF Members

I'll extend the deal another week

Definately the 5x8 AMNPS the versitility of the burner to be used with both pelets and dust is great. Not to mention your going to be wanting to do some smokes like brisket that youll start the night before and 11hrs of smoke lets you have a good night sleep while the T.B.S. imparts all that wondeful flavor.

Is there a coupon code for this? A friend of mine is a member and is looking at getting the Tube!

Todd,

Looks like I found the right thread!  I've been wanting to try out one of your a-maze-n smokers.  I'm going to build a smoke house mainly to air dry sausage in but thought I might use a little smoke sometime too.

Also wanted t o use it in my gas grill, but after doing a little reading, it seems that it wouldn't work in the grill unless I keep my temps below 270*.

I read about your NEW  "Pitmaster's Choice"  - Hickory/Cherry/Maple    and it seems to have rave reviews.  I would also like to try it in my Charbroil American Gourmet Deluxe Offset Smoker when I use charcoal instead of wood.  Which one do you recommend and which fuel...dust or pellets?  How do I get the discount you're offering?  I'm ready to order this weekend.

Thanks,

Bobby

Hey Bobby

There is very little air for the AMNPS to burn properly, when you use charcoal

I'm not saying it won't work, you need a good supply of air

Where do you get the pellets or sawdust for these? Do you have to burn a certain kind?

I currently have 20 tons of pellets & sawdust in my warehouse, so you can order from me.

Or, there are other suppliers of pellets around the country.  Try your local BBQ Store.  You may be able to source sawdust locally at a cabinet shop.  There are also a few companies that sell sawdust too.
What about in a gas grill?
The Tube Smoker seems to work well in a gas grill

Place it above an area without the burners on
