What oil do you season a new smoker with?

You could try and burn it out by setting it on it's highest setting (with nothing in it) and let it run with all vents open for a few hours.
 
I got it cleaned out pretty good since its a ceramic coated steel inside. I'm mainly wondering what oil people use. The soybean oil spray I used was labeled vegetable oil but the ingredients just list soybean oil.
 
Personally I use plain old Crisco in a can or regular Pam in a spray can

Just kidding....olive oil or a light vegetable oil - I've used both.
 
Thanks. What I originally used I thought was the same thing as pam just wally world branded. Not sure is pam is all soybean oil too
