An opposition party general in South America had to flee his office when the state authorities came to arrest him. He ran into the jungle, and was desperately seeking somewhere to hide. He found an old temple in the underbrush, dug his way in and hid. It got cold and was dark, so he lit a fire. The authorities spotted the smoke, and found and arrested him.
