Did a initial video review of this unit.

This was my first time using a chamber vac machine so I wasn't sure what to expect.

Sorry for the audio quality in the video. I was having issues with my mic so I had to use a backup plan.

So far this unit is nice to have and will get lots of use. Im working on a more detailed review of the unit. I have about 100 bags thru it so far in about a week and want to get another 100 or so thru for the detailed review.

Want to pull the trigger on one but put up a lot of venison/pork ring sausage which would require the use of the textured bags anyhow to seal outside the unit 🤔

Great review. I've consider getting this unit a few times. It's the weight and size I'm not so keen on. I used to store my Food saver in the basement and would have to haul it up everything I wanted to use then put back in the basement. I cleared a spot for it in my kitchen pantry and love the quick access. With this size and weight I would have to go back to basement storage. It is a heck of a sealer though so I'm still weighing the tradeoff.

Why would you need the textured bags for the sausage? The unit will seal textures, smooth, mylar etc.

Its closer to 40 lbs but what I am liking about it is that I can store stuff in the chamber when not in use. Also its compact per say and easy to move around. Im looking at either getting a mobile kitchen cart like this https://amzn.to/42e0f16 or finding a place for it to just be like other appliances.

Is the sealer bar wide enough for most things? Would a home cook rarely need a wider sealer bar? Appreciate your review.

Sausage, I guess could coil it in the chamber. I guess I'm just old school vac sealing in lengths of approx.12-14".
Racks of rib or larger chickens would need the textured for doing outside the chamber.
