The top round roasts I did lat week seemed to disappear while I was at camp for the weekend all 7 lbs of it. I got two sandwiches was all. So I decided this time I'd make sure I would get more and when the brother in law heard I was doing more he brought one over too. So I did 5 roasts and 1 pastrami. The brisket was a pain after soaking it I put the seasonings on and got it in the smoker about noon at 3 it was 147 internal at 11:30 it was still only at 159 finally foiled it then it flew up to 185 by 12:30 it was only 4 lbs.

Dang that looks good Piney. Nice job! What internal temp did you take the roast beast to? That looks juicy & delish.

I had a sammie today with both meats piled on a french hamburger roll, topped with a slice of swiss cheese and yellow mustard. YUMMY!!
 
I have been wanting to try a roast,those pictures put me over the top started one at 5 this morning hope it comes close to yours
 
great looking roast beef and strami, you should be set for sammies for at least this week!!! that is a full smoker you had there, nice job Jerry!!!
