So I have a smoked point in the freezer...thinking about mac and cheese with cubed point and green chilies.

Any mac and cheese recipe should work - i have a good base recipe. right?

I've never tried brisket in mac-n-cheese, but I have put ham or kielbasa in it and it tastes great. So I don't see why brisket wouldn't.

I did that once. It was amazing! Do it! Green chilies tho…. Wow! gotta try that! Yum!
I like that endorsement! should be a cold rainy/snowy weekend here. gonna fire that right up.

Not saying it won't work but doesn't sound good to me. I am DYING to make some chili with smoked brisket so that's what I'd do. Another option would be brisket and cheese quesadillas.

chili is a good idea too. but the mac and cheese is going down this weekend. Likely in the oven due to inclement weather. but should be tasty. I will take pics - even tho the wide think i am weird for taking pics of my cooks.

I throw the finished mac and cheese in a disposable 9 x13, smoke it for an hour at 225. I first used a recipe from the web heygrillhey.com/smoked-macand cheese. It was awesome. Don't forget to add some extra liquid.
I have added bacon twice, salad shrimp once, and faux lobster, and they were all great. Burnt ends sound like a good addition.

Lol my wife chuckles at my taking pics of my cooking too. Good luck on the Mac and cheese!
