Here is a small demonstration of how to braid sausage in twin links. I have a video too if you need it but the process is pretty straight forward.
First fold your sausage rope in half, pinch the middle point and twist
Then measure the length of link you want, pinch that point, cross the two legs, pinch and twist
Now take one leg up under the hole and back through the hole and back down, this locks the links in place.
Then repeat the length of the rope.
Fast and easy linking and will not unravel when hung up, it’s a space saver as well. I have a video for a 3 link English braid as well which saves even more space in the smoker.
