Wife wanted some chili to last her the rest of the winter. Made two batches . one with

Pulled Pork the other with hamburger in it. Here whats going into them.

Garlic

Got the green peppers, onions , and garlic all chopped up.

She wanted to try Mrs. Dash in it .

Everything in the pot

This will be the hamburger chili

Pulled pork added to this one

All mixed up

Decided to switch to this pot for the hamburger chili

Got them on at 7;30 this morning . Going to stay around 200 degrees in the smoker

for around 10 hours.

You're right it's that time of year.  Our chili makin is scheduled for next weekend.  I am going to use some leftover Brisket.  Yours looks great!

Yes , BBSTAN . You can freeze Chili , but what's the sense

. Six months on a good Chili, the longest I would hold it frozen...then scramble it with some good Free Range Eggs , over easy and dipped Corn Tortillas on the side...

Looks good. As we all know chili gets better with each passing day so if you can possibly get it to last all winter I think you'll be a happy camper!
