When I walked in, the place was super clean but had a interesting modern/rustic combo appearance inside. Everyone was super friendly. The owner and pit boss were both there. The bathrooms were immaculate.

I ordered brisket, coke and fries.

Do not use this review as an excuse NOT to go and you'll understand why after you read it all.

My overall experience there was fantastic. Great customer service, prompt, the food was hot, the fries were absolutely blazing hot and delicious and perfectly friend. The brisket had a great flavor to it and it was super hot (not spicy), but it was just not quite done. I had to pull on it a little harder than I like and chew a little extra.

The owner and pit boss and I talked smoking meat and I shared some of my pics. The owner asked me what I thought about the brisket and I gave my fair opinion that it tasted very good but the tenderness wasn't quite there. Without hesitating he refunded my entire meal. I felt so guilty but he told me that his brisket wasn't good enough to be served like that and that's not what he was about. Super nice guy. We chatted bbq for a solid 30 minutes before I thanked him and left. I told him I would be back to try it again.

I haven't yet but when I get up that way, I will for sure and I still have every intention of giving this place another chance.

Everything gets 5 stars but the brisket and only because the tenderness wasn't where it needed to be so that's why I gave it a 3. When I go back if all is good, I'll totally give this place 5 stars. I wish ALL restaurant owners cared like he did.

The place seemed pretty new, so they might have still been ironing out some finer details.

I'm not sure how long they had been there, but I'm definitely ready to go back and try them again.

My wife stopped by for a pulled pork sami and brought me the leftover half. It was delish! I need to make it over there for something fresh.

Never been there, but curious what you thought of the smoke flavor? Reason I ask is the smoke ring looks to me like curing salt was used in the rub for a faux smoke ring.
