Still trying to figure out probe entry

I know this is redundant but for the life of me I can't find it with search. I want to modify my smoker so the probes don't have to go thru the door. I saw something on here about an electrical adaptor of some sort. Has anyone done a mod for this?

Never had to do that but if it was me I would try drilling a small hole to run it thru. You shouldn't lose much heat or smoke that way. But I am curious to see what the others have to say.

i put my probes through the hole in the bottom of mine where my grease drips out i also have a drip can hanging there too
