So I'm sitting with my fellow regulars in my friend Joe's pub the other night, and Joe thinks it would be funny to open a bag of pepper-flavored jelly beans and offer them to us at random. He put them in a cup and would shake one out, and you got what you got.

I first got a jalapeno. Not bad, and it did really taste like a jalapeno. Second try, I'm pretty sure I got the Carolina Reaper. I had hiccups for about 10 minutes, and that was the last one for me.
Anyone else try these?

Used to be able to buy the jalapeno in the bulk bins in the mall, my daughter loved them. Then they quit selling them as a standalone item. I haven't looked in years so I don't know if it is still that way or not.

Those showed up at Thanksgiving. I'm a pepper lover, but the jalapeno were actually hotter than I would have guessed, and the Reaper was unbearable. Next years stocking stuffer for my ex wife!
