SCV - So Cal
I started with a little prep last night. I had leg of lamb and chuck left over from last week.

Half was chunks and half ground then mixed together. I also prepped some garlic butter cheese with parsley for some cheesy garlic bread.

Getting things started. This is when it's nice to have a large smoker.

ENABLER ALERT! New toy. It is a blower to get the fire burning faster. It uses the Dewalt batteries I already have.

A while later and stuff is looking good.

It doesn't look much like chili yet.

OK better. It will need to simmer for another hour or so.

That all looks fantastic. My only question is how can you run out of bacon?
I only buy the Costco low sodium bacon. The last two times my wife has gone there she didn't let me know until she got home.
