So got a ? My smoker came in damaged so called retailer and they said to keep it and do what i want with it and i got a new one on the way. Its an charbroil american gourmet 700. Just got a cheap one to learn on. Im a big mod guy. I mod everything. Well the damage of the smoker is mainly cosmetic little things here and there. So question what to do with it. My thought were to build the chamber and double up on the top lid and bottom to make it thick and lay a bead of hit temp silicone to seal it? Any thoughs what to do with 2 of the same smokers

Lucky you,
Well you could always make it into a nice looking unit- give it a beauty paint job..
I would keep 1 at the cottage( if you have 1)
Or just give it to someone who would put it to good use, unless you plan on cooking large amounts of meat where you will need both..

Do you know any autobody guys? 20 minutes with a hammer and dolly and you would never know it was there.
If you feel it must be disposed of, I will send you my mailing address. LOL

If I had welding skills, I'd think about connecting them side by side.
