Found only one thread that was a couple years old on this subject . Looking for new info. Have a Masrterbuilt 30" electric and want to do blue cheese stuffed  bacon warped  burgers. 

Thinking of smoking with hickory for about 60 min. then a quick sear on the grill. 

Looking for some help.

Also , does anybody out there have the old  Kamado #5 ? They aren't made any more and there web site is no longer.

Have had mine for 20 years and have not used it lately but want to start smoking a lot more. Any web sites out there?

The BGE and others are close but looking for more info on mine.

Sounds like a fine plan. If you want the bacon crisp I suggest just cook it separately and serve on top.
