Some of the meatballs are ground beef with italian seasonings, garlic, parmesan & romano cheese, bread crumbs and a couple spoonfulls of store-bought pasta sauce mixed in the meat to make sure they stayed very moist.
The other half are meatloaf-balls. My wife made her meatloaf recipe, ground beef, garlic salt, some other seasonings, etc. Then she mixes some honey & ketchup together to make a glaze. Some of this is mixed into the meat and some was dabbed over the meatballs when they were almost done in the smoker.
