Slicing bacon

When I finish the smoke how do I slice the bacon? I read something about across the grain? So I would slice along the edge facing toward the counter edge?

I believe it's the other way. Check out this video it shows bacon being sliced. Always had mine smoked and sliced by the local smoke house. Gonna try doing it myself this year.
