I stuffed mine with cheap Banquet frozen sausages. Thawed them a bit in the microwave, rolled them a bit smaller than standard so I could place 2-3 strips of cheese slices into the noodles with the sausage. Cooked them in the toaster oven on a pan covered with foil. Rotated them half-way through. Had 'em for breakfast. Even with the major shortcuts, it took a while. Biggest regret: Should have used dry onion flakes for a bit more flavor.
Thanks Bill, that sounds pretty good, and a bit easier to construct.
The shells look great Chris. I know they're a lot of work, but I'm going to give them a try soon, try to impress the zoo...😄

Few years ago, we drove I-20 to Atlanta to catch a Braves weekend series. That Friday it was raining as hard as it possibly could and those "crazy a$$ drivers" were doing 85-90. Scared the crap out of me and I had to get off the interstate. Took awhile to pry my hands off the steering wheel...😂
Appreciate it Charles. These would be perfect for your zoo. I'm glad then when we visit my SIL does the driving. He's used to it. I will say I was impressed with some, either phone app or radio station(I can't remember which) but it told us where on the highway there was an upcoming accident or if something was on the road. It gave us enough time to either change lanes or find an alternate route. It came in handy on almost every trip.

I wouldn't turn those down. They look great. Better with a beer after you got back from the Dr I'm sure
Thanks Joe, A beer would have been the icing on the cake.
Well worth the effort Chris and especially when the wife chows down on 'em. So, anything you would change for the next round?

Matt
Appreciate it Matt. A couple of things I'd change. First, cut the burger meat down to about a 1/2 pound, and second. Use a rougher/coarser shred on the cheese. I think using the fine helped it's flavor disappear. I'd also like to find a good dipping sauce for them. Maybe something with a mustard base.

Sounds like the Waze app. It's really good for helping avoid things such as an accident, things in the road, radar traps, etc. A lot of the things are entered by people on the road so it's real time info. Google maps has caught up some to Waze, but I still like Waze better...

Don't forget it also warns when a cop is ahead

That sounds like what it is. It's pretty neat and useful.

Ha ha I'm not sure where the police could safely pull someone over on those roads. If they would actually pull over.
